Due to a partner retirement, we are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our team at Hafan Iechyd in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, ideally as a six-session partner, but would consider a salaried post We are a forward-thinking practice of ten partners and a very dedicated extended clinical team that includes ANPs, Nurses, HCAs, a Physiotherapist and an excellent supportive dispensary, administrative and managerial team.

 Hafan Iechyd is a dispensing practice, that is committed to providing an excellent training environment for GP Registrars, Foundation Doctors, Medical Students and ANPs.  Our building is modern, purpose-built and in a beautiful location on Afon Menai, and is shared by Health Board Staff including our District Nurse Team, Midwives and Health Visitors.

13000 patient mixed urban and rural practice in a beautiful area of Wales with excellent access to Eryri and the coast EMIS computer system Excellent opportunities to develop an educational role with GP Training and medical student teaching Participation in full range of enhanced services including minor surgery Well run profitable dispensary.

Job Details

6 session GP post 9 weeks pro rata annual and study leave package.

Practice paid locum insurance and medical defense organization fees.

Partners encouraged to take on roles outside of the practice.

Person Specification

A fully GMC registered GP that loves general practice and is committed to its future.

The ability to consult in Welsh or willingness to learn Welsh would be desirable.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an extended team.

Possession of a full driving license.

On the All Wales Performers list.
